Cinnamon sugar butter

Remember cinnamon toast, that childhood favorite? By mixing the cinnamon and sugar right into the butter you can enjoy it on pancakes or English muffins, unless you want to stick with the traditional favorite white bread, sliced on the diagonal.

 

 

 

4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, softened
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1¼ teaspoons cinnamon

Combine butter with sugar and cinnamon. Keep tightly covered in the refrigerator up to three weeks.

Makes about ¼ cup.
